Description

The PGS15 Guideline – Storage of packaged hazardous substances is the Dutch Guideline for storage and temporary storage with regard to fire safety, occupational safety, and environmental safety. This is an in English translated version.

The purpose of this PGS guideline is to establish measures to control the risks associated with the storage of packaged dangerous goods. These measures are based on a risk approach that takes into account the scenarios that may occur. Based on the scenarios, objectives have been formulated with the aim of creating an accept-ly safe level. The measures are then derived from the objectives. These measures reduce the likelihood of an incident or prevent or limit the adverse consequences of an incident.
