Description
ADR Awareness 1.3 (Spanish) is an online course for employees whose duties relate to the carriage of dangerous goods by road. The course is offered in Spanish and introduces the requirements of ADR Chapter 1.3, with training relevant to participants’ responsibilities.
Who should take ADR Awareness 1.3?
This training is relevant to consignors, consignees, packers, fillers, loaders, unloaders and other employees involved in preparing or handling dangerous goods for road transport. Training needs must be assessed according to each person’s actual tasks.
What does the ADR Awareness course cover?
The e-learning explains dangerous goods classification, hazard labels, packaging, transport responsibilities and the ADR 1.1.3.6 exemption commonly known as the 1,000-point rule.
- Module 1: ADR and the functions of the participants in transport.
- Module 2: Labels, packaging, preparation for dispatch and other transport-related tasks.
Assessment, certificate and study time
The course ends with an online knowledge test. Participants who achieve at least 70% correct answers receive an ADR Awareness course certificate, available to download or print. Study is self-paced and the course can be completed in a few hours.
An ADR Awareness certificate is evidence of completing this course; it is not an ADR driver training certificate. Drivers who require a vocational ADR training certificate must obtain the relevant separate qualification. The applicable requirements depend on the transport operation and any exemptions.
