E-learning Course Awareness dangerous goods (German)

Description

The Dangerous Goods Awareness e-learning course (German) introduces employees to the risks, terminology and safe working practices associated with dangerous goods and hazardous substances. Study online at your own pace and develop a practical foundation for day-to-day duties in warehouses, laboratories, industry, healthcare and other workplaces.

What you will learn

The course is organised into four online modules covering the following subjects:

• Legislation and relevant rules for the storage, transport and use of dangerous goods and hazardous substances.
• Hazard classification and communication under GHS, EU requirements, ADR and IMDG, including basic substance properties.
• Reading and understanding safety data sheets (SDS).
• Transport-related tasks, including ADR responsibilities, the 1,000-point calculation and separation of incompatible substances.
• Basic response to spills and other dangerous-goods incidents.

Each module is followed by questions to help check your understanding. The course content is introductory; job-specific training may also be required.

Who should take this course?

Suitable for employees who occasionally or regularly work with dangerous goods or hazardous substances, including warehouse and logistics staff, laboratory personnel, production employees, public-sector teams and healthcare workers. The employer should assess which instruction is appropriate to each job and applicable rules.

Course duration: 2–4 hours.

On successful completion of the course questionnaires, participants receive a SafetyNet Academy Dangerous Goods Awareness certificate. This course certificate documents the training completed; it is not an ADR driver training certificate or an unrestricted regulatory qualification.
